We have an open house on 27th November – sign up and visit the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute, FGI!
National Land Survey of Finland, Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI), Vuorimiehentie 5.
Did you know that the research conducted in the FGI (of National Land Survey of Finland) is utilized from urban to rural areas, and from the Earth’s crust all the way to outer space?
Come visit us and learn more about our research!
We will present our research with variety of presentations and demos. The detailed program will be confirmed later.
Our research topics include for example drone-based sensing, shared geospatial data in cloud environments, solutions for satellite navigation interference, tracking objects moving in space, and numerous other geospatial-related topics.
We collaborate with companies and the results of our research are applied from NASA to Finland’s forest industry. Our research is internationally renowned, and our scientific impact ranks among the top in Finland. We offer partnership opportunities and career prospect through our new postdoc positions.
