Booking appointments to be tested at some National Land Survey service points – check the locations of service points participating in the pilot project

At six National Land Survey service points, customer service by appointment will be tested in summer 2024. Our goal is to find methods to shorten queues at our service points.

A middle-aged customer wearing glasses is sitting at the desk while their case is being handled. On the other side of the desk, a service advisor with long, blonde hair and glasses smiles at the customer while sitting in front of a computer.
At some of the National Land Survey's service points, we are testing customer service by appointment. It is worth waiting until the autumn unless you have a reason to hurry the conversion of your share certificates.

We are testing customer service by appointment in six locations: Hämeenlinna, Joensuu, Kajaani, Lahti, Pori and Tampere. During an appointment all matters that require visits to the service point can be handled.

You can book an appointment on the National Land Survey's website. Appointments are opened for booking a few weeks at a time.

During the pilot project, the appointment booking system will only  be available in Finnish and service by appointment at the service point will be provided in Finnish only. Appointments are 30 minutes long. Some cases that are processed may carry a charge. Pricing details will be given during the appointment.

You can visit a service point without an appointment

Most of the National Land Survey's service points continue to provide service without an appointment. It is also possible to visit the service points in locations participating in the pilot project without booking an appointment, when the service point is open. In those cases, our customers will be served in order of arrival.

The goal of the pilot project is to improve the appointment booking system so that appointments can be booked at all service points in autumn 2024. The appointment booking pilot project is a part of a greater change in our modes of operation  to shorten queuing times and lessen the overload in the conversion of share certificates.
