PRS Pilot Project for Demonstration (3PfD)
One of the unique features of the Galileo satellite navigation system is its dedicated Public Regulated Service (PRS). The purpose of the PRS is to improve the resilience of authorized users against radio jamming and counterfeit signals (spoofing). The 3PfD project is conducted in collaboration with the Belgian Competent PRS Authority (CPA) [coordinator], Belgian Royal Military Academy, Septentrio Satellite Navigation, M3 Systems Belgium, the German CPA, Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority, Polish National Institute of Telecommunications, Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), Research Institute Sweden (RISE), UK Space Agency, and Nottingham Scientific Ltd.
