Controlling real property in support of security of
Capturing territories in a foreign country to advance national interests is one form of hybrid warfare. Often countries, Finland included, aim to prevent this kind of attempts by monitoring the real property transactions close to sites of strategic importance. Monitoring the changes in direct ownership to real property provides, however, only a limited view on the possible security threats related to land and real properties.
