The research group focuses on issues related to the geodata sharing in network-based solutions. In particular, the group is interested in the service interface standards related to the geodata services, service solutions that support content transformations and other geodata processing and analysis functionalities, and the use of open source implementations in interoperability-related network service development projects. The group takes part in the building of the national spatial data infrastructure in service development projects and supports the standardisation activities for instance in the INSPIRE process.
