The main focus areas of the Satellite Positioning Group are the accuracy, precision, and reliability of the geodetic GNSS positioning. The newest area of interest is the metrolological traceability of GNSS results. The group maintains the permanent GNSS network FinnRef and develops a fully automated GNSS processing centre.
