FutureNav

This project focuses on developing a new Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation for Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). The new satellite navigation layer will complement the European Galileo constellation, enhancing resilience and enabling advanced services such as higher precision, improved signal penetration, and increased robustness. FGI will oversee the integration and qualification of the experimentation station, ensuring instrumentation verification and compliance. This includes comprehensive lab testing and a maritime test campaign to support LEO-PNT In-Orbit Demonstration (IOD) experiments in high-latitude regions.
