Understanding the dynamic Earth in East Antarctica with multitechnique geodetic measurements (DynEAnt)

The goal of the DynEAnt project is to better understand the response of the East Antarctic lithosphere to changes in mass loading. In the project, we will develop new lithosophere and load models utilizing long time series of geodetic measurements both at Finland's Aboa station and from Dronning Maud Land. The project improves the accuracy of geodetic measurements in the area with the help of the new loading models we will develop. The project also includes two Antarctic expeditions, where we both continue our time series of geodetic measurements spanning more than three decades, and pilot new measurement methods.
