FUTURECROPS 2.
The project focuses on food-producing and partly non-mainstream plant species with carbon sequestration and nutritional benefits. A wider range of crops and know-how for their utilization creates multi-benefits for society and opportunities for business development.
The carbon sequestration potential and yield variations of food plants are investigated using satellite and drone-based remote sensing and biological methods.
