The Location Innovation Hub (LIH) is a centre of excellence in location information coordinated by the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute. Our services are produced in conjunction with a partner network. We help companies to grow their business with location information. We also serve the public sector.

We support our customers to make their operations more efficient by developing data interoperability and using new positioning technologies. We provide tools and test environments, consultation and training, and support for companies to obtain funding. 

Our focus areas are the built environment, bioeconomy, health and wellbeing, and transport, logistics and traffic. With our help, companies operating in these sectors can develop business related to artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and cyber security.
