The core contributions of the project are to develop and demonstrate innovative digital solutions to the regional information models, including automatic updating of the models. Through this development, intelligent 3D city models will be more widely available for development purposes in cities. The four-year project will be implemented in cooperation with companies and Aalto university.  and and service concepts of the future, drawing upon cutting-edge knowledge and technology.

 

The outcomes of the project are methods for updating of city models constructed from data collected by mobile mapping (laser scanning), 3D-models for indoor environments and methods and equipment for those, and future virtual models.
